Scott Snair sent out an email flash last month describing some of the philanthropic efforts of one of our classmates David Kim. A very worthy cause, I have included Scott's email below. Our classmate David Kim has put together a scholarship fund for the children of fallen veterans. Along with several other USMA and USNA grads, David recently started a scholarship fund called the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (CFPF). CFPF's mission is to provide college scholarships to the children of military personnel from all branches - Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard - who were killed in the line of duty, whether in training or combat. CFPF hopes to complement the efforts of the many other military related charities to ensure that all of the college educational needs of eligible children are met. David is asking for your assistance in locating such children, particularly those who are in college now or who will be enrolling in the Fall. As you might know, Privacy Act considerations make it difficult to receive information through official channels. CFPF has considerable funds to distribute and David is trying to locate beneficiaries. Anyone with information or questions is welcome to contact David at his office at 203-708-6615 or via email at dkim@skmequity.com. As David offers: "Thank you in advance for your help in this matter and God bless all of our classmates, as well as their families, who are serving in harm's way."

Bill Porter, along with Scott, Lisa Strine, and Matt Sebonoler are working on the Class Gift. They have created www.usma88.com to help receive donations. Congratulations to Todd Hecker and his lovely bride. They are the proud parents of little Jack Hecker. Thanks to Dave Leek for sending the pics. (PHOTO) God Bless. Keep writing.
